The Greater Phoenix Scooter Club is excited to announce the launch of this year’s Great Pink Box Toy Drive, our annual community effort to bring joy and comfort to children in Arizona’s foster care system. What started last year with just 16 donation boxes and nearly 1,200 collected items has grown into something much bigger — and this year, we’re taking it Valley-wide.
Beginning Wednesday and continuing through December 19th, Great Pink Boxes will be placed at more than 250 participating businesses across Greater Phoenix. Each box is ready to receive new, unwrapped toys, books, games, stuffed animals, and sports equipment for children of all ages.
Why It Matters
Arizona’s Foster Alliance now serves nearly 14,000 foster kids across the state. Many of these children enter the system with little more than the essentials, and the holiday season can magnify feelings of instability and loss. Our goal is simple: ensure that every child receives a moment of joy, surprise, and belonging during the holidays.
How Local Businesses Are Helping
This year’s participating businesses are stepping up in a big way. By hosting a Great Pink Box, they’re transforming lobbies, storefronts, cafés, gyms, offices, and community spaces into collection points where generous Arizonans can drop off gifts that will go straight to foster children who need them most.
