How to Join the Greater Phoenix Scooter Club
Joining the Greater Phoenix Scooter Club, Inc. is an exciting way to network and ride with good people for a good cause. Here are the steps and requirements to become a member:
Participate in Rides:
Show up for at least two of our rides to get to know our community and experience the camaraderie.
Pledge Our Mission:
Commit to our mission: “We Aim to Network and Ride with Good People for a Good Cause.
Follow the Rules:
Adhere to our club’s guidelines to ensure a respectful and positive environment for all members.
Attend a Meeting:
Meet with the board to discuss your involvement and understand our operations better.
Participate in Drives:
Engage in our fundraising events or necessary items drives to support our cause.
Rep Our Club:
Show your club pride by wearing our patch or placing the pink tag on your keychain.
Pay Annual Dues:
Contribute $40 annually, which goes towards club operations and promotional items such as patches, keychain tags, stickers, shirts, back patches, website hosting costs, etc.
GPSC Guidelines
- Promote Our Club: Spread the word about our mission and activities.
- No Rumors: Maintain a positive and factual communication environment.
- No Unnecessary Drama: Focus on constructive and enjoyable interactions.
- No Hateful Ideology or Language: Foster an inclusive and respectful atmosphere.
- Respect the Other Members: Value and support your fellow members.
- Respect Other Clubs’ Members: Show courtesy and respect to members of other clubs.
- Attend Organized Rides: Participate in our scheduled rides to strengthen our community.
- Support Our Online Presence: Engage with our Facebook page, group, and Meetup forums.
- Signup for the Newsletter and Text List: Stay informed about club news and events.
- Volunteer When You Can: Offer your time and skills to support our initiatives.
- Follow the Rules of the Road: Ensure safety and compliance during rides.
- Spread Goodwill: Celebrate and support fellow members’ endeavors.
- Support Organizations Who Support Our Club: Partner with and endorse those who help us.
- Pay the Annual Membership Fee: Ensure the sustainability of our club with your dues.
Special Note for Veterans
Veterans ride free as a token of our appreciation for their service.
